On Tuesday, October 16, the Institute for Futures Studies (IFFS) will host an event focused on the recent IPSP report. At 1:00 p.m. there will be an open seminar, entitled “Research and ideas for a brighter future.” This will include two panel discussions, with speakers including Kristina Persson (former Minister of Strategic Development and Nordic Cooperation), Bettina Kashefi, Carlos Rojas, and several IPSP authors:
- Gustaf Arrhenius (Chapters 2, 18)
- Marc Fleurbaey (Steering Committee)
- Kerstin Sahlin (Chapter 6)
- Denny Vågerö (Chapter 18).
After the seminar and discussion will be a film screening: the world premier of a new documentary about the work of the IPSP. Entitled “A New Society,” the documentary is produced by Eileen Jerrett and directed by Sofie Wolthers. You can watch the trailer of the film here.
