    We are sorry to share the sad news of the loss of Prof. Saleemul Huq, who had recently joined the new Advisory Board of IPSP. The director of the International Centre for Climate Change & Development (ICCCAD), he was a renowned academic and a relentless climate advocate.      The first meeting took place at Institute for Advanced Studies in Paris on Sept. 27-29. Intense, lively and very productive discussions in the most congenial and productive atmosphere, about :

    • purpose and value-added of IPSP2.0
    • thematic focus in the coming years
    • work process and methods
    • dissemination and impact
    • organization and funding

    The new IPSP orientation has been endorsed by the Board and work can start as soon as possible!

  • First meeting of the Advisory Board

    The first meeting of the Advisory Board of the International Panel on Social Progress to be held in Paris on September 27th-29th, 2023. 

    The Coordination Council approved yesterday the organisation of the first meeting of the Advisory Board at the Institute for Advanced Study in Paris from Wednesday September 27th until Friday 29th, 2023. The meeting will provide the opportunity to gather 50+ high-level personalities from academia, NGOs, business communities, international organizations to discuss the future activities of the Panel. The title of the meeting “Collective Intelligence in Action for Social Progress” underlines the collegial cross-sectoral dimension of the activities to be developed and disseminated by the Panel.

  • Coordination Council of IPSP 2

    The composition of the Coordination Council of the new International Panel on Social Progress is now complete. 
    Thanks to the diversity of international experience, thematic expertise and geographical origins of its 12 members, the Coordination Council will constitute the inner collegial circle of the new cycle of the Panel. Composed with gender parity, the Coordination Council will provide initial guidance for the activities of the Panel. It will meet on a monthly basis to discuss the best composition for the Honorary Committee (20+ members) and for the Advisory Board (50+ members). It will supervise the organisation of the first meeting of the Advisory Board in the fall of 2023.
